Dec 8, 2014 @ 12:00 PM — by Kellyn Hodges
Phase I treatment is early interceptive treatment usually done between the ages of seven and eleven years of age. It is designed to correct certain skeletal growth disharmonies, functional problems such as cross bites or severe deep bites, restoring lost arch space and attempting to avoid extractions or surgery at a later time.
